Heist does not host video files. Videos play from third-party embedded players that we don't control. We do host subtitle files and the title pages that link to those players, and we remove them promptly when a rights holder asks.
Sending a takedown request
Email [email protected] with:
- The copyrighted work you own, or are authorised to act for.
- The Heist page link(s) for each item to be removed.
- Your name, address, phone number and email.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you're the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
We review valid notices and remove or disable the listed pages and subtitle files, usually within 72 hours, and reply to confirm. For the video itself, please also contact the embedded player's operator, as the file is on their servers.
Counter-notice
If you believe something was removed by mistake, email us with the removed page link, an explanation, and the same contact details and statements as above.
